Time. It is the enemy of every filmaker. Time and budget are inextricably linked.

The most important way of saving time and money is in Pre -production. A well planned and organised production will yield dividends over an ill prepared and badly planned venture. At HCP film we have the experience and the expertise to take your production through the pre planning, production and post production stages economically and efficiently.

Although some studio scene only, with experienced and well rehearsed cast and crew can shoot  an hour or even more of usable footage the average location film can't approach those figures.
Experienced filmakers know that a realistic result for an average day is between one and three minutes of usable footage.

An average 10 minute short film will take at least 6 days to shoot after pre-production with a post production and edit period of a further 4 to six weeks.  

Commercials (simple structure) can normally be completed in two to three weeks .
